I would like to thank Nexus for one more time for giving us the opportunity to make the first worldwide review of the newly released WaveAir.
It is an 8cm fan, with a special casing that can fit onto a pci slot and extract, or blow air according to the position of the fan. Let's see the specifications! Taken from Nexus website
Package is nice, with transparent window to see the WaveAir. Front Side Rear We can see what's inside the package Included The main part, it is made of black plastic and it is very durable. The cap has some large holes to allow for better ventilation and it also has the Nexus logo on the center. The Nexus 8cm fan,it is really silent.I measured it at 12Db from 20cm distance. Installing WaveAir is really simple, just place the fan with the direction needed(extract or blow air) Then we place the pci adaptor to the case And it locks secure with a gentle push It is pretty bulky but it doesn't interfere with anything! Performance
Noise It has noise levels of only 12Db from 20cm away from the fan, the same as a silent 12cm fan.
The only negative is that it is bulky from the outside, and the difficulty to be removed.
Positive +Improves cooling/air flow -Bulky
