Notebook prices have dropped and performance has increased very much, this resulted in a huge increase at notebook sales.Almost everyone nowadays has one. Because of the increased capabilities and reduced size, notebooks produce a lot of heat. So companies started to manufacture coolers specifically for notebooks, in fact these coolers are bases with fans attached in order to help the air circulation, which results in lower temps. But what if someone doesn't want to have extra fans? Vizo has the solution with EZ Surf note book cooler. It works passively and generates absolutely no noise.
Let's have a look at its features and specifications!
All data is taken from Vizo website:

Now let's have a look at its packaging!
Vizo EZ Surf is inside a nice gray package, with a transparent front so we can see the cooler.
From the back we can see the features and specifications, and a demonstration on how it works.
Here we can see the EZ Surf, it is made of black anodised aluminium.
Detail from the front. We can see the EZ Surf logo and the area where the thermal pad goes.
From behind we can see the fins that help remove the heat from the notebook.
This is the heat transfer material tha is used to carry the heat from the notebook bottom to the EZ Surf.
Here we can see the instructions
First of all Vizo EZ Surf has a very unique and nice design, and is passive! There is no need to add one more fan and the noise it produces. At first I was a bit suspicious if the thermal conductive material can help reduce the temp of a notebook, since there is no airflow generated. But I have seen 6 degrees lower temps at a 15,4" laptop, and 13 degrees celcious lower temps in MacBook Air 13.3". This is quite a big decrease in the temperatures!
Pros
Cons
"Vizo EZ Surf is very nice looking, and performs remarkably well for a fanless notebook cooler..."
