Tuniq indeed made a strong comeback at high end cpu coolers with Tower 120 Extreme. It does not only perform remarkably well, but it also has a really nice appearance. The smokey finish, the wave shaped fins and the blue led fan together provide an eye candy for your system!
From the performance aspect, Tower 120 Extreme has nothing to fear from its competitors since it has similar performance with Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme, one of the best air coolers in the market.
It can be considered also a value cooler, since it includes a fan and has multi compatibility unlikely other coolers that need to purchace a fan seperatelly. Also the design is a very big advantage that will attract many people.
Noise was high at full speed, but this is normal for a fan spinning at 2000rpm.At lower fan speed acoustic noise is low, but it would be nice to have even lower fan speed setting with the included fan speed controller for the silence lovers.
Pros
Cons
"Tower 120 Extreme is given the design award for its eye catching design, and the recommended award for not anly looking nice but also performing as well!!!"
Tuniq carries a givaway for three Tower 120 extreme coolers at facebook! Just check the link: http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?topic=10712&post=50535&uid=104123825196#/group.php?gid=104123825196&ref=ts
